Microdermabrasion is a micro-invasive procedure to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scars, melasma and other skin problems and conditions.
The procedure uses a special applicator with an abrasive surface to gently abrade the thick outer layer of skin to rejuvenate it.

Microneedling is preferably used in cosmetic practice on the face, neck, scalp, thighs and buttocks as well as on the chest and cleavage. With this type of microneedling, needles around 0.1 mm thick penetrate the surface of the skin.
The length of the needles is between 0.25 – 3.5 mm, whereas the needles of household and cosmetic rollers are no longer than 0.25 mm.
The treatment is more effective with longer needles, but more painful with a larger quantity. Tissue examinations a few weeks after medical microneedling show a clear improvement in the tightening factors mentioned above.
There are numerous scientific studies on microneedling, known as collagen induction therapy or percutaneous collagen induction. They confirm that medical microneedling is highly effective.
When treating scars with microneedling, the treatment perforates the scar tissue and improves blood circulation. This greatly enhances the appearance of the tissue and the skin tone loses its paleness and returns to its natural color.
